Weather Advisory: Temporary Door Closure

Due to extreme cold, access through the Moakley Building's entrance off Boston Medical Center Place will be temporarily closed from 5 p.m. Friday, Jan. 30, through 7 a.m. Monday, Feb. 2.

All patients and visitors should use the main entrance for the Menino and Yawkey Buildings during this time. The hospital remains open and operating as normal.

We appreciate your patience as we take these precautions during severe winter weather.

About

Kenneth M. Grundfast, MD, is a board-certified otolaryngologist at Boston Medical Center (BMC) and a professor at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine. After receiving his medical degree, he completed a surgery residency at Sibley Memorial Hospital, an otolaryngology - head and neck surgery residency at Boston University Medical Center, and a pediatric otolaryngology fellowship at UPMC Medical Education. He has previously served as chair of the Department of Otolaryngology at the Children's National Medical Center, interim-chair at the Georgetown University Medical Center, and chair of the Department of Otolaryngology at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine and BMC.
