About

Karissa Brazauskas, MD, is a pediatric pulmonologist at Boston Medical Center (BMC). Dr. Brazauskas is also Director of the Pediatric Pulmonary and Allergy Division in the Department of Pediatrics at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine. She is passionate about ensuring children with asthma, and other diseases that impact the lung, receive the highest quality care. Her clinical interests include asthma, chronic lung disease of prematurity, chronic cough, vocal cord dysfunction, and childhood interstitial lung disease. Dr. Brazauskas has been involved in numerous quality improvement projects to enhance pediatric pulmonary care in the inpatient and outpatient setting for over a decade. In addition, she is a devoted teacher and mentor who is actively involved in medical education and coaching medical students and residents.
