Emma N. Lutz, MSN, FNP-C, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) at Boston Medical Center (BMC), where she specializes in genitourinary cancers and hematologic malignancies, and an Instructor of Medicine in the Hematology & Medical Oncology Section of the Department of Medicine at the Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine.

Emma began her career as an inpatient nurse before earning her Master of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Massachusetts Boston. She then transitioned to an academic hospitalist nurse practitioner role prior to joining the Hematology and Oncology team at BMC.

Emma’s experience as a hospitalist informs a systems-based approach to transitions of care and the management of acute oncologic complications. She is passionate about compassionate communication and the delivery of equitable, patient-centered care for all.
