Dana R. Semmel, MD, is a board-certified anatomic and clinical pathologist at Boston Medical Center and Chief of Pathology at the Lemuel Shattuck Hospital in Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts. She also serves as an Assistant Professor of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine at the Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine.

After receiving her medical degree at the University of Miami, Dr. Semmel completed pathology residencies at Boston University Medical Center as well as a fellowship in Women’s and Perinatal Pathology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, also in Boston.
