About

Charlotte Solmssen, MD is a pediatric and newborn hospitalist at Boston Medical Center and a member of the Department of Pediatrics. She cares for hospitalized children and newborns, including patients in the Mother/Baby Unit. Dr. Solmssen is also an assistant professor at the Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine. She earned her medical degree from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in 2022 and has clinical interests in pediatrics, newborn medicine, and pediatric hospital medicine.
