All patients and visitors on our main campus must enter our hospital via Shapiro, Menino, or Moakley buildings, where they will be greeted by team members at a new centralized check-in desk before continuing to the hospital. Barbara L. Edwards, MD, is a pediatric emergency medicine physician at Boston Medical Center (BMC) and an assistant professor of pediatrics in Emergency Medicine at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine. After receiving her medical degree, Dr. Edwards completed a residency in pediatrics at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She is board certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Emergency Medicine.
