About

Anne G. Beckett, MD, MPH, is an internal medicine and pediatric hospitalist at Boston Medical Center (BMC), and an Assistant Professor of Medicine (General Internal Medicine) at the Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine. She is board-certified in both internal medicine and pediatrics.

Dr. Beckett earned her medical degree from Yale School of Medicine in New Haven, Connecticut, and completed her residency training via the combined internal medicine and pediatrics program at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Boston Children’s Hospital. She also holds a Master of Public Health degree from Harvard School of Public Health.

Since joining BMC in 2019, Dr. Beckett’s work has focused on health equity–centered education of residents and medical students, and on medical advocacy for incarcerated patients. She is the Co-Director of the Massachusetts chapter of Medical Justice Alliance, a coalition of volunteer medical providers who work to protect the health of incarcerated individuals.
