About

Andrew Berical, MD, is a board-certified pulmonologist and critical care physician at Boston Medical Center (BMC). Dr. Berical is a physician-scientist researching the biology of airway development, stem cells, and cystic fibrosis. He is an assistant professor of Pulmonary, Allergy, Sleep & Critical Care Medicine at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine and a member of both the Center for Regenerative Medicine and the Pulmonary Center at Boston University. Dr. Berical is the 2022 recipient of the Harry Shwachman Clinical Investigator Award from the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CFF).
