About

Afi M. Semenya, MD, MPH, is a board-certified family medicine physician at Boston Medical Center (BMC) and an assistant professor at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine, where she supervises residents and medical students on the family medicine inpatient service and maternal child health. After receiving her medical degree, Dr. Semenya completed her family medicine residency at the University of North Carolina. Her research interests include preconception care, health disparities, chronic disease management.
