Philip A. Cohen, MD, FACS, FASMBS

Philip A. Cohen, MD, FACS, FASMBS, is a board-certified general surgeon specializing in bariatric and minimally invasive surgery at Boston Medical Center (BMC) and BMC South in Brockton.

Dr. Cohen earned his medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine and completed his general surgery residency training at Boston University Medical Center. He subsequently completed a fellowship in bariatric and minimally invasive surgery at the University of Massachusetts Medical School in Worcester. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) and a Fellow of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (FASMBS).
