Melissa T. Nass, MD, MPH, is a board-certified pediatrician at Boston Medical Center (BMC) with over fifteen years of experience caring for adolescent patients and teaching pediatric residents and medical students. At BMC, she additionally serves as Associate Medical Director of Adolescent Medicine and is the Founder and Medical Director of BMC’s “Curbside Care” mobile program, which offers comprehensive, high-touch, dyadic care to mothers and babies during the first six weeks after delivery. She is also the Medical Director for the Boston Public Health Commission’s six School-Based Health Centers.

Dr. Nass is a Clinical Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine.

From 2015–2023, Dr. Nass served as Director of the Pediatric Resident Continuity Clinic at BMC, where she supervised the clinical education of thirty-six pediatric residents in the Boston Combined Residency Program (BCRP) and earned several teaching awards. She completed her residency at Rhode Island Hospital/Hasbro Children’s Hospital in 2008 and graduated from Tulane University School of Medicine in 2005.

Dr. Nass has special interests in adolescent medicine, reproductive health, dyadic care, alternative health delivery models, and health equity.
