An Update Regarding Seasonal Illnesses

To help prevent the spread of seasonal respiratory illnesses, we strongly encourage all visitors to wear a mask while in ambulatory clinics or inpatient units. Surgical masks are available at hospital and clinic entrances. Patients with respiratory illnesses should also wear masks. Thank you for helping protect our patients, staff, and community.

About

Carmen D. Sarita-Reyes, MD, is an attending pathologist at Boston Medical Center and a Clinical Associate Professor of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine (Anatomic Pathology) at the Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine. Dr. Sarita-Reyes specializes in pediatric, developmental, and placental pathology.

After receiving her medical degree, Dr. Sarita-Reyes completed residencies in anatomic and clinical pathology at both Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana, and Danbury Hospital in Danbury, Connecticut. She then completed a fellowship in pediatric pathology at the NYU Grossman School of Medicine in New York, New York.
