Alik Farber, MD, MBA, is the Chief of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery and the Associate Chief Medical Officer for Surgical Services at Boston Medical Center. Dr. Farber is also a Professor of Surgery and Radiology at the Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine. He has extensive expertise in vascular and endovascular intervention to treat peripheral arterial disease, open and endovascular abdominal and thoracic aortic aneurysm repair, treatment of diabetic foot problems, carotid artery surgery and stenting, and dialysis access. Dr. Farber is a member of numerous national and regional medical and surgical societies. He is a prolific researcher, who has published more than 200 peer-reviewed articles about vascular and endovascular surgery and has served as a principal investigator for a number of clinical trials.
