- Assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of substance use disorders (SUDs)
- Assessment, diagnosis and treatment of psychiatric disorders
- Access to BMC case management, which can help with overcoming common barriers to healthcare, including transportation and acquiring a Massachusetts Identification Card
- Access to and coordination with community-based support services
- Assistance accessing support for social determinant of health needs (e.g., food, IDs, employment, insurance)
- The Connection Hotline (617.638.5500), which helps callers navigate the addiction treatment and support programs at BMC, makes appointments and referrals, and follows up with patients to ensure they have the support they need
- Family planning
- Family support and guidance
- Harm reduction education and supplies
- Hepatitis C screening and treatment
- HIV prevention, screening, and treatment, including pre-exposure and post-exposure prophylaxis for HIV (PrEP and PEP)
- Infectious disease care
- Inpatient admission to BMC’s high-risk obstetrics service for medical stabilization
- Intensive, individualized outpatient treatment plans
- Medications for opioid use disorder, including buprenorphine/naloxone (Suboxone), buprenorphine extended-release injection (Sublocade), naltrexone pills or injection (Vivitrol) for blocking cravings, and under certain circumstances 72-hours of methadone dosing in our methadone clinic
- Mental health support, including individual and group therapy
- Monitored acute substance withdrawal treatment
- Nicotine replacement (gum and patches)
- Opioid overdose education, including naloxone (Narcan) rescue kits
