Kimberley S Mak, MD, MPH, is a radiation oncologist at Boston Medical Center (BMC), where she specializes in thoracic, gastrointestinal, breast, and musculoskeletal malignancies. She is also an assistant professor of Radiation Oncology at Boston Universtiy Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine. Her interests include Cyberknife® radiosurgery, radiotherapy, patient-reported outcomes including quality of life, and disparity outcomes. She has training ... and experience in biostatistics, epidemiology, decision analysis, meta-analysis, clinical trial design, and molecular and cell biology laboratory work. After receiving her medical degree at Harvard Medical School, Dr. Mak completed an internship in Internal Medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, followed by residency in the Harvard Radiation Oncology Program, training at Massachusetts General Hospital, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Children’s Hospital of Boston, and Boston Medical Center.
