BMC’s integrated behavioral health (IBH) service provides behavioral health services to patients in outpatient medical practices, including evaluation and short-term treatment. The IBH team, a diverse group of social work clinicians, mental health counselors, psychologists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, and psychiatrists, strives to improve access to these services and help break down barriers to care for patients by bringing behavioral health care into medical settings.
