About

Laurence Brinckerhoff, MD, is Chief of Thoracic Surgery at Boston Medical Center (BMC) and Clinical Associate Professor of Surgery at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine. Dr. Brinckerhoff is a renowned expert in treating patients with lung cancer and pleural mesothelioma, and benign and malignant disease of the esophagus. He graduated from the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth in 1994, is certified by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery, and has been practicing as a thoracic surgeon for over 25 years. Both his clinical and research interests focus on lung and esophageal disease and robotic surgery. Dr. Brinckerhoff has been recognized as a Top Doctor by Boston Magazine since 2010.
