Andreea M. Bujor, MD, PhD is an Associate Professor of Rheumatology at Boston University School of Medicine, and the Associate Program Director for the Rheumatology Fellowship Program. She is a board-certified rheumatologist and physician-scientist who specializes in the care of scleroderma patients. Dr. Bujor has a research lab in the Arthritis and Autoimmune Diseases Center where she conducts translational research in scleroderma. Dr. Bujor’s research focuses on the interaction between immunity and fibrosis in scleroderma, identification of new biomarkers of disease, and development and validation of novel outcomes measures for clinical trials in scleroderma. She has been recognized with several awards, including the Walter A. Coyle Memorial Research Grant and the Established Investigator awards of the Scleroderma Foundation, and the Tobé and Stephen E. Malawista, MD, Endowment in Academic Rheumatology of the Rheumatology Research Foundation.
