Epis is a bold, aromatic blend of fresh herbs, garlic, peppers, and citrus, used as a seasoning base in Haitian cuisine to enhance meats, rice, and stews. This seasoning is packed with antioxidants and vitamins.

Ingredientes


Garlic – 6 cloves  Parsley – ½ bunch (~ 1 cup), leaves only  Cloves – ½ teaspoon, ground or 1 whole Scallion – 3-4 each Maggi_Chicken_Bouillon_Cubes– 1 cube (use ½ of you are on a low sodium diet)  White_Vinegar – 1 Tablespoon Oil – ¼ oil vegetable or canola oil  Thyme – 1 sprig 

Instructions

Step 1
Roughly chop the 6 cloves garlic, ½ bunch parsley and 3 or 4 scallions.
Step 2
Add herbs and additional ingredients into a blender or food processor: ½ tsp clove, 1 cube Maggi, 1 Tablespoon white vinegar, ¼ cup oil and 1 sprig thyme. 
Step 3
Blend until smooth. Store in the refrigerator for 4-7 days, maximum, or in the freezer for up to 3 months.
