Isaretta Riley, MD, MPH, serves as senior medical director and executive director of the Health Equity Accelerator, where she translates the organization's commitment to equity into measurable, lasting improvements in the health of the patients and communities it serves. She also continues to provide clinical care as a practicing pulmonologist.
Prior to joining, Dr. Riley served as assistant professor of medicine in pulmonary, allergy, and critical care medicine at Duke University School of Medicine, where she built an independently funded research program focused on identifying and implementing effective interventions for the populations most vulnerable to adverse asthma outcomes, with particular interest in medication adherence, access to care, and community-engaged research. She earned her Doctor of Medicine from Cornell University's Weill Medical College, her Master of Public Health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and completed both her residency and fellowship at Duke University School of Medicine.
