Alejandro Aviña-Cadena, MD, MPH, is an emergency medicine physician pursuing his residency at Boston Medical Center (BMC).

Dr. Aviña-Cadena earned his medical degree from the University of California, Irvine, where he also completed a master’s in public health degree program with a focus on Sociocultural Diversity and Health.

In addition to his work in the emergency medicine department, Dr. Aviña-Cadena will serve as the 2026–2028 Ravin Davidoff Physician Executive Fellow in Health Equity at BMC.
