All patients and visitors on our main campus must enter our hospital via Shapiro, Menino, or Moakley buildings, where they will be greeted by team members at a new centralized check-in desk before continuing to the hospital. About

Cyndie Hatcher, MD is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics in Ambulatory Care Services at the Chobanian and Avedisian School of Medicine. She completed her undergraduate degree in Chemistry at Duke University. While completing her medical degree at Harvard Medical School, her interests in maternal and child health led her to obtain a Masters in Public Health with a focus on strategies to improve health outcomes for the vulnerable children of Boston and their families. She then completed her pediatric residency at University of Massachusetts Memorial Children’s Medical Center. As a Haitian Creole speaker and advocate for health equity for all children, she has the honor of caring for immigrant families in their native language. Her projects include Small Moments, Big Impact, a phone application and novel tool that helps improve empathy and attachment within mother-baby dyad. She is also involved in the Practice of the Future (POF), a clinical innovation model in primary care.
