Smoking Cessation and Lung Health Research Overview

In conjunction with the Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine, the Tobacco Treatment Center at BMC conducts research focused on topics such as tailored cessation strategies for individuals with substance use disorders (SUDs) and new therapies and technologies to support quitting.

We also lead community-engaged research to increase awareness of lung cancer screening in Black communities, and participate in the CEASE-Smoking Study, which aims to better integrate smoking cessation training and resources into the workflows of community wellness advocates.
