Inpatient Psychiatric Service
Our patients in the inpatient psychiatric service are treated as individuals and receive specialized, trauma-informed care tailored to meet their unique needs and goals. Our treatment options and support services include:
- Care coordination
- Discharge planning
- Family support and counseling
- Group therapy
- Individual therapy
- Medication effectiveness evaluation
- Occupational therapy
- Peer support
- Psychotherapy
- Recovery and safety planning
- Substance use disorder treatment
Clinical Stabilization Service
Our CSS program is designed to empower patients to accept responsibility for an improved quality of life and make personal changes to stop using drugs or alcohol. Our program includes:
- Care coordination with patients’ doctors, nurses, and other members of their care team outside of Brockton Behavioral Health Center (BBHC)
- Discharge planning assistance for patients leaving BBHC for the next step of their recovery journey
- Individual and motivational counseling
- Medication-assisted therapy for eligible patients
- Recovery-focused workshops and lectures
- Wide variety of group counseling, including education about substance use disorders, finding motivation and making life changes, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), self-help, 12-step programs, and skills training, among many others
