Andrea I. Havasi, MD

Andrea I. Havasi, MD, is a board-certified nephrologist at Boston Medical Center (BMC) and an Associate Professor of Medicine at the Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine.

Dr. Havasi received her medical degree from Semmelweis University in Budapest, Hungary. She completed her internal medicine residency training at Bridgeport Hospital in Bridgeport, Connecticut, in conjunction with Yale School of Medicine, and subsequently completed a fellowship in nephrology at BMC. She has been in practice for more than two decades.

Dr. Havasi specializes in amyloidosis, peritoneal dialysis, acute kidney injury, chronic kidney disease, and glomerular diseases.
