Sheina Theodore, MD, is a board-certified trauma surgeon and surgical critical care intensivist at Boston Medical Center (BMC) and an Assistant Professor of Surgery at the Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine, where she also serves as Associate Director of the Surgery Clerkship.

Dr. Theodore received her medical degree from the Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine in Scranton, Pennsylvania, and completed her general surgery residency training at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, Massachusetts. She subsequently completed a fellowship in Surgical Critical Care at Boston Medical Center.

Dr. Theodore’s interests include surgical critical care and trauma outcomes, social determinants of health, and surgical education.
