At Boston Medical Center, our surgeons perform thousands of surgeries each year, both planned and emergency procedures. These include appendectomy, gallbladder surgery, hernia repair, abdominal wall reconstruction, and soft tissue excisions, using open, minimally invasive, and robot-assisted techniques.    . Patients are seen in the general surgery clinic or in one of our surgical specialty clinics.
