Zachary Clarke Rich is a research fellow at Boston Medical Center with a specialization in tobacco use and cessation. He earned an A.B. in Biology from Colby College and an M.D. from Tufts University School of Medicine, graduating with Research Honors. His training includes a residency in Internal Medicine & Pediatrics at Western Michigan University and a Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellowship at the University of Iowa, where he served as Chief Fellow.
Dr. Rich's research focuses on understanding and combating tobacco use. Currently, his interests include tobacco use among individuals with substance use disorders and Nicotine Free Generation policies.
