Jeffrey I. Schneider, MD

Jeffrey I. Schneider, MD, a board-certified emergency medicine physician with over two decades of experience, is Associate Chief Medical Officer at Boston Medical Center (BMC). He is also an Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine and Assistant Dean for Graduate Medical Education at the Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine.

A nationally recognized educator, Dr. Schneider serves as BMC’s Designated Institutional Official for the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) and as Vice President for Graduate Medical Education for BMC Health System. He has served as a mentor and advisor for countless students, residents, and junior faculty; won numerous awards for his work in medical education; and is widely published on many aspects of both graduate and undergraduate medical education.

Dr. Schneider is deeply invested in health equity initiatives and serves on a number of committees across the Boston Medical Center and Boston University campuses.
