Emily C. Cleveland Manchanda, MD, MPH, is a board-certified emergency medicine physician at Boston Medical Center (BMC) and an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at the Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine.
After receiving her medical degree from the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Dr. Cleveland Manchanda earned a master’s degree in epidemiology ... from Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health in New York City. She then completed her emergency medicine residency in Boston through the Harvard Medical School–affiliated program at Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women’s Hospital, serving as Chief Resident in her final year.
In addition to her work in emergency medicine, Dr. Cleveland Manchanda serves as Co-Director of the Ravin Davidoff Executive Fellowship in Health Equity at BMC and Director for Social Justice Education and Implementation at the American Medical Association’s Center for Optimal Health Outcomes.
