About

Joanne M. Murabito, MD, is a primary care physician at Boston Medical Center (BMC), Co-Principal Investigator of the Framingham Heart Study (FHS), and Professor of Medicine at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine. Dr. Murabito specializes in aging, longevity, reproductive aging, and the relation of these traits to health outcomes and gene discovery. She is an expert in genetic epidemiology, leading the Cohorts for Heart and Aging Research in Genomics Epidemiology (CHARGE) Aging and Longevity working group and the Reproductive Genetics (ReproGen) Consortium. Dr. Murabito’s research interests focus on identifying the determinants of healthy aging and longevity, and reproductive aging in the community.
