An Update Regarding Seasonal Illnesses

To help prevent the spread of seasonal respiratory illnesses, we strongly encourage all visitors to wear a mask while in ambulatory clinics or inpatient units. Surgical masks are available at hospital and clinic entrances. Patients with respiratory illnesses should also wear masks. Thank you for helping protect our patients, staff, and community.

Our Professional Governance

At BMC, we believe in working together to make informed decisions that shape nursing practice and enhance patient care. Our shared governance model is built on accountability, safety, professional growth, and collaboration. Nurses play an integral role in upholding professional standards, participating in quality care delivery systems, and contributing to various committees to drive meaningful change.

We're dedicated to fostering a culture that prioritizes development and resiliency. Through professional development initiatives, the adoption of evidence-based practices, and authentic leadership, we ensure our nurses feel empowered. We also provide opportunities for nurses to build resilience - a critical quality for navigating the profession's challenges - helping them "bounce back" and stay optimistic amid adversity.

Collaboration is the heart of what we do. We've cultivated an environment centered on strong communication and shared values by involving our staff in leadership, education, and quality discussions. Our commitment to interprofessional teamwork ensures that patient care remains our top priority while contributing to greater job satisfaction, stronger relationships, and a supportive organizational culture.
