MassHealth for Long-Term Care
If you are 65 or older, or in long-term care, you are not required to enroll in a managed care organization (MCO) plan or a Primary Care Clinician (PCC) Plan. You receive your MassHealth benefits on a fee-for service basis by using MassHealth providers, unless you are eligible and choose to enroll in one of the following plans or programs:
- Senior Care Options (SCO)
- Program for All Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE)
- A managed care organization (MCO) plan (home- and community-based services waiver members only)
- A Primary Care Clinician Plan (home- and community-based services waiver members only)
Home- and community-based services waiver members younger than the age of 65, or members in the Kaileigh Mulligan Program, may choose to enroll in an MCO or PCC plan. Apply here
