BMC’s Addiction Psychiatry Treatment Program (APTP) is an outpatient program that treats adults who have been diagnosed with both a substance use disorder and a mental health condition. We provide access to a wide range of services including assessment and treatment, medication management, as well as individual and group psychotherapy.

Education and Training
Addiction Psychiatry Fellowship
BMC and the VA jointly oversee an addiction psychiatry fellowship, which has been providing subspecialty training in addiction psychiatry for over 20 years. This one-year program provides psychiatric physicians with advanced training in the recognition, diagnosis, and treatment of substance use disorders, with a special focus on medication for addiction treatment.
