Weather Advisory: Temporary Door Closure

Due to extreme cold, access through the Moakley Building's entrance off Boston Medical Center Place will be temporarily closed from 5 p.m. Friday, Jan. 30, through 7 a.m. Monday, Feb. 2.

All patients and visitors should use the main entrance for the Menino and Yawkey Buildings during this time. The hospital remains open and operating as normal.

We appreciate your patience as we take these precautions during severe winter weather.

Neurosurgery Residency

The combined Beth Israel–Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) and Boston Medical Center (BMC) Neurosurgical Residency Program gives residents a unique opportunity to train at three medical centers in New England, all of which treat patients with some of the most complex neurologic conditions. During their seven years of training, residents spend equal amounts of time at BIDMC and BMC, six months at Boston Children’s Hospital, and one year carrying out research.
