Weather Advisory: Temporary Door Closure

Due to extreme cold, access through the Moakley Building's entrance off Boston Medical Center Place will be temporarily closed from 5 p.m. Friday, Jan. 30, through 7 a.m. Monday, Feb. 2.

All patients and visitors should use the main entrance for the Menino and Yawkey Buildings during this time. The hospital remains open and operating as normal.

We appreciate your patience as we take these precautions during severe winter weather.

Preparing for Your Overnight Sleep Study

We perform overnight sleep studies every night of the week. Patients have their own private bedrooms while a specialized sleep technician attends to the sleep study. The laboratory accommodates overnight sleep studies for patients of all ages, from infancy to geriatric patients. We require a parent or guardian to accompany any children age 14 or under.

On the night of your study, report to the Crosstown Building at 801 Massachusetts Avenue (enter at the rear of the building) at 8:00 p.m. and notify the public safety officer that you are here for your test. They will direct you to the waiting area.  The sleep lab staff will escort you to the lab.

Parking is available in the Crosstown Center Garage at 7 Melnea Cass Boulevard.
