Weather Advisory: Temporary Door Closure

Due to extreme cold, access through the Moakley Building's entrance off Boston Medical Center Place will be temporarily closed from 5 p.m. Friday, Jan. 30, through 7 a.m. Monday, Feb. 2.

All patients and visitors should use the main entrance for the Menino and Yawkey Buildings during this time. The hospital remains open and operating as normal.

We appreciate your patience as we take these precautions during severe winter weather.

Complex Outpatient Antimicrobial Therapy (COpAT) Program

Treatments and Services

Our team works with patients that need treatment for MRSA, bacteremia, abscesses, endocarditis, etc. Depending on the patient’s needs, we will coordinate treatment with the patient’s other care teams including dialysis centers, home infusion programs, skilled nursing facilities, and/or rehabilitation programs. The clinical team monitors the patient’s health and progress by ordering and reviewing labs, radiology tests, Picc-line, and wound care.
