Weather Advisory: Temporary Door Closure

Due to extreme cold, access through the Moakley Building's entrance off Boston Medical Center Place will be temporarily closed from 5 p.m. Friday, Jan. 30, through 7 a.m. Monday, Feb. 2.

All patients and visitors should use the main entrance for the Menino and Yawkey Buildings during this time. The hospital remains open and operating as normal.

We appreciate your patience as we take these precautions during severe winter weather.

Patient Resources

For your baby’s first appointment, please bring:

  • The name of your early intervention coordinator, if you have one
  • A baby bottle and the formula brand that you use, if you’re bottle feeding
  • Any questions that you have

Other family members are welcome to come to the first appointment. If you need another appointment, we’ll schedule it before you leave. We'll also send a report to your baby’s regular pediatrician, who you will continue seeing.
