Diabetes Research Overview

The diabetes research unit is composed of an interdisciplinary team engaged in basic, translational, and clinical diabetes research. In conjunction with the BU Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine, we are engaged in a number of research studies that aim to help develop more effective treatment and management options for patients with type 1, type 2, and atypical diabetes. You can learn more about our research below.

If you are a patient and you are interested in hearing about studies that you may be able to join, please consider enrolling in the Endocrinology/Nutrition/Diabetes Opportunities (ENDO) Registry, or contact us with your questions at EndoResearch@bmc.org or 617.638.5906.
