Shawn J. Rangel, MD, is a board-certified pediatric surgeon affiliated with Boston Medical Center (BMC) and Boston Children's Hospital (BCH). Dr. Rangel is also a professor of surgery at Harvard Medical School. After receiving his medical degree, he completed a surgery residency at Stanford University and a pediatric surgery fellowship at Cincinnati Children's Hospital. Dr. Rangel has authored more than 100 publications and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
