About

Rachel E. Helm, MD, is a board-certified newborn hospitalist at Boston Medical Center and an Instructor of Pediatrics at the Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine.

Dr. Helm received a BA in Religious Studies, a BS in Biomedical Science, and a Master of Science in Health Sciences at the University of South Florida. She went on to receive her medical degree at Florida International University Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine, after which she completed her internship and residency at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore in the Bronx, New York.

She spent the next several years working as a pediatric intensive care hospitalist at both the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore and Johns Hopkins Children’s Center in Baltimore, Maryland, followed by working as a pediatric hospitalist at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center in New York City.
