Michael P Platt, MD, is an otolaryngologist at Boston Medical Center (BMC) and associate professor of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine. Dr. Platt is an expert in diseases of the nose, sinuses, and anterior skull base. He specializes in endoscopic management of disorders which can be accessed through a transnasal approach. Dr. Platt completed a fellowship in Rhinology and Skull Base Surgery at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary/Harvard Medical School, and has been in practice for over 15 years. He is a member of the Evans Center for Interdisciplinary Biomedical Research at Boston University, and his research interests include chronic sinusitis, nasal polyps, and gene expression profiling.
