Weather Advisory: Temporary Door Closure

Due to extreme cold, access through the Moakley Building's entrance off Boston Medical Center Place will be temporarily closed from 5 p.m. Friday, Jan. 30, through 7 a.m. Monday, Feb. 2.

All patients and visitors should use the main entrance for the Menino and Yawkey Buildings during this time. The hospital remains open and operating as normal.

We appreciate your patience as we take these precautions during severe winter weather.

About

Dr. Allison M. Perz, MD is a dermatologist at Boston Medical Center (BMC) and an assistant professor of Dermatology at the Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine. Dr. Perz received her medical degree at Cooper Medical School of Rowan University in Camden, NJ and completed her dermatology training at Boston Medical Center. During her time as a resident at BMC, she served as academic chief resident and was involved in pre-clinical dermatology education for medical students.

Dr. Perz is passionate about equitable access to dermatologic care, improving patient experience, and medical education. Her clinical interests include inpatient and complex medical dermatology, urgent care, and infectious diseases. Dr. Perz sees both pediatric and adult patients in the inpatient and office settings.
