Weather Advisory: Temporary Door Closure

Due to extreme cold, access through the Moakley Building's entrance off Boston Medical Center Place will be temporarily closed from 5 p.m. Friday, Jan. 30, through 7 a.m. Monday, Feb. 2.

All patients and visitors should use the main entrance for the Menino and Yawkey Buildings during this time. The hospital remains open and operating as normal.

We appreciate your patience as we take these precautions during severe winter weather.

Treatments and Services

CTRN aims to holistically support safety and healing for children and youth through a variety of clinical activities, including:

  • Developmentally informed therapy tailored to each client's needs. Therapy can be delivered individually, dyadically (child and caregiver), or for family systems
  • Client-informed advocacy to strengthen the systems of support around each child, youth, and family and develop stable, healing environments in all areas of a client’s life
  • Compassionate and informed caregiver guidance to parents and caregivers as they support their children and navigate challenges alongside them
  • Connections to community resources to meet each client’s needs and support their growth and development

CTRN also delivers training and consultation services for community-based organizations and professionals. These services include:

  • Case-related consultation for schools and early care and development centers
  • Grief-sensitive training and consultation for community agencies
  • Training for professionals and caregivers on a variety of topics related to early childhood trauma, the impact of domestic and community violence, and clinical intervention with very young children
  • Trainings and support for frontline providers and organizations serving immigrant children and families
