Sandra R. Cerda, MD, is a board-certified pathologist and the Medical Director for Cytopathology at Boston Medical Center (BMC). Dr. Cerda is also an Associate Professor of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine at the Boston University Chobanian and Avedisian School of Medicine, where she directs the department’s Cytopathology Fellowship.
After receiving her medical degree in Spain, Dr. Cerda continued her medical training ... in Boston, completing her pathology residency and a cytopathology fellowship at Boston University.
Dr. Cerda specializes in cytopathology as well as surgical, gastrointestinal, perinatal, and gynecological pathology, and has published several research papers in these areas. She has more than 20 years of experience.
