Weather Advisory: Temporary Door Closure

Due to extreme cold, access through the Moakley Building's entrance off Boston Medical Center Place will be temporarily closed from 5 p.m. Friday, Jan. 30, through 7 a.m. Monday, Feb. 2.

All patients and visitors should use the main entrance for the Menino and Yawkey Buildings during this time. The hospital remains open and operating as normal.

We appreciate your patience as we take these precautions during severe winter weather.

Kwan Hon Vincent Lau, MD, is a neurologist and outpatient medical director of Neurology at Boston Medical Center (BMC). Dr. Lau is also an assistant professor in Neurology, director of the Neuromuscular Fellowship, and associate director of the Neurology Residency at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine. A neuromuscular specialist, Dr. Lau focuses on peripheral neuropathy, neurological manifestations of amyloidosis, and quality improvement in neurology. Dr. Lau also conducts research in medical education technology.
