Weather Advisory: Temporary Door Closure

Due to extreme cold, access through the Moakley Building's entrance off Boston Medical Center Place will be temporarily closed from 5 p.m. Friday, Jan. 30, through 7 a.m. Monday, Feb. 2.

All patients and visitors should use the main entrance for the Menino and Yawkey Buildings during this time. The hospital remains open and operating as normal.

We appreciate your patience as we take these precautions during severe winter weather.

About

Dr. Noelle Saillant is Chief of Surgical Critical Care at Boston Medical Center (BMC) and an Associate Professor of Surgery at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine. Dr. Saillant is Director of the surgical intensive care unit (SICU) and Director of the BMC Surgical Critical Care Fellowship. She completed general surgery residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and a fellowship in the Department of Traumatology and Surgical Critical Care at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. She is a highly published surgeon-scientist who has coauthored more than 100 peer-reviewed articles. Her research interests include trauma-induced coagulopathy, chest wall injury, and surgical education.
