The NIH Clinical Trial Definition is: ‘A research study in which one or more human subjects are prospectively assigned to one or more interventions (which may include placebo or other control) to evaluate the effects of those interventions on health-related biomedical or behavioral outcomes.’
Clinical trials play an important role in assessing new treatments and techniques for many types of health conditions. How do I find information about Clinical Trials at Boston Medical Center?
We encourage you to sign up in our Registry to be notified of studies that interest you, and to review the open studies on ClinicalTrials.gov where you can identify studies that are a good fit for you and the contact person that will help you get registered.
