An Update Regarding Seasonal Illnesses

To help prevent the spread of seasonal respiratory illnesses, we strongly encourage all visitors to wear a mask while in ambulatory clinics or inpatient units. Surgical masks are available at hospital and clinic entrances. Patients with respiratory illnesses should also wear masks. Thank you for helping protect our patients, staff, and community.

This test involves the injection of medication called dobutamine, which stimulates the heart in the same way that exercise would. Typically used when a patient is unable to exercise on a treadmill or stationary bike, it can determine how well the heart tolerates activity, the likelihood of coronary artery disease, and evaluate the effectiveness of a treatment plan.
