About

Tom Jaksic, MD, PhD, is a board-certified pediatric surgeon affiliated with Boston Medical Center (BMC) and Boston Children's Hospital (BCH). He is also the W. Hardy Hendren professor of surgery at Harvard Medical School, the vice-chairman of pediatric general surgery at BCH, and the surgical director of the Center for Advanced Intestinal Rehabilitation at BCH. After receiving his medical degree, he completed his residency at the University of Toronto and fellowships at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
